Prophecies

NORSK
‘God calling’ is the name of a book of daily devotions that has been cherished by many and questioned by others since it was first published in 1935. It was part of the devotional library when I grew up.

Two women started the day by just listening to what God would say to them. What they heard changed them, and they decided to share it with others in small portions, one for each day of the year.

In Norway, the little book has sold 40.000 copies, which is remarkable for a book of this kind. All prophetic utterances should be tested. Even Paul said: “For we know in part and we prophesy in part” (1).
Therefore also the words in this little book must be tested, but this is not about the book ‘God calling’, but about the fact that God does speak, and that is at the core of prophecies.
See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks.
Hebrews 12:25
Over a sequence of many years I have heard God speak through others and to me directly, and in 2012 it came together in what I since then have called a prophetic sandwich.

It gave me a strong conviction that our present time is God’s time for Europe. Everything that has happened over the past four years, has confirmed this. The crisis in EU, countries close to bankruptcy, refugees, civil wars, rhetoric of fear a.s.o; but also spiritual hunger, extraordinary conversions, Jesus revealing himself to Muslims in dreams, and overwhelming goodness.
The next days I will take you through this sandwich.

'Manna' for today:
I pray that I never refuse him who speaks!
